“We’ll figure it out, I promise you..” She sounded really convincing. She knew that the nightmares will be over soon or later. They always figure it out. It seemed like pain always haunted the twins. No matter what they have achieved, there’s always something trying to tear their lives apart. But the two of them always have each other and that’s why they’re still here. “Do you want me to sleep with you tonight?” The youngest Maximoff asked him softly as her fingers caressed his hair gently, hoping that he’s comfortable with her, “I’ll spoon you.”
He knew that they would figure it out–they always did. They’d figured out how to get over their parents death together, they had figured out how to survive together. They’d been through so much; more than some people went through in a life time. And so Pietro knew that they would figure it out, the part he didn’t like though was the space in between figuring it out and now. “Yes–it will help.” There was no question that her being there would help. Her being there was something that always helped.
If only she could manipulate his mind and put aside his nightmares, she’d do it. But she’s afraid that the effect might be worse than the reality. She didn’t want to risk that, so, she decided to help him with her affection. Wanda let go off him and stood up from the ground as she extended her hand, “come on, Pietro, let’s sleep in my room.. I’m sure you’ll feel more comfortable there..” She gave him a warm smile, waiting for him to accept her hand and stand up.
