[ Indie Wanda Maximoff | Multiverse ]“— and if you must die, sweetheart, die knowing your life was my life’s b e s t part. But if you must live, darling one, — just live.”
“Wander, if I am not mistaken? You look a little lost, are you feeling well?” The AI looked to the woman with a light tilt of his head, though remained in keeping his distance for the sake of not frightening her. The pair had only met once, after all. The majority of people in the place were still wary around the machine, despite no act of hostility.
“Wanda,” her gaze turned to him as a little smile formed on her face. “Please, call me Wanda,” she told him again one more time. A little sign escaped her lips before she shook her head, answering his question, “not so well, I guess,” hands were put inside her pocket as she shrugged her shoulders slightly.
“That is understandable, you are lucky to be able to hide such differences. People see me and run in fear.” There wasn’t much emotion held in the last sentence, yet the fact that he had done nothing wrong in this life and people were still afraid was almost upsetting.
“I was afraid the first time I met you, but I didn’t show it..” She shrugged her shoulders slightly, “were you afraid of me?”
It thought of what she spoke of, tried to understand how the woman felt…but it was proving difficult. “You do not look terrified…terrified people scream and hide… You must contain it very well, some people cannot restrain what they keep held inside.” There was a small pause, but its gaze did not waver from hers. “Yes..and no…it is difficult to understand.”
A soft sigh escaped her lips before she shook her head, “no, not all people show their emotions. We like to keep things to ourselves so the others wouldn’t use it against us,” she explained, smiling a little.
I would kill for you. • I would make love to you. • I would fuck you. • I would protect you. • I would hurt you for a selfish cause. • I wish we had more in common. • I want nothing to do with you. • I want to see you cry. • I want a future with you. • I want to destroy your future. • I do not care what you do. • I am indifferent towards you. • I want children with you. • I love you ( platonically ) • I love you ( romantically ) • I love you life family. • You are my family. • I could fall in love with you. • I would lie for you. • I would fight by your side. • I will never let you go. • I would hold you while you cried. • I would hug you. • I want to kiss you. • I would stay by your bedside if you were ill. • I want to fall asleep with you in my arms. • I want to forget you. • I will never forget you. • I only want to make you proud. • I wish I could make you happy. • You deserve nothing. • I will never forgive you. • You confuse me.
“How do…you..feel?” He was curious of the humans emotions.
“How do I feel? Let’s see, right now, I feel there’s a weight on my chest, afraid that I might lose control and kill people. I’m terrified and I can feel it all over my body. Do you understand?”
There was a small silence, its head turning down as if thinking about the woman’s question. It was difficult to think of the reason…it was like waking up from a dream and only remembering shards, none of it making sense without the full mirror intact.
“I see them..hurting us…in..my head..” Its gaze tilted up to meet hers once more. “But…I do not see..any others…are they..dead?”
It would have been easier for her to understand if she got inside its head. But she didn’t know what it’s capable of. The brunette tilted her head to the side as she took a deep breath, trying to understand what he’s saying. Inside its head? Others? Yes, the others were dead. She saw bodies of robots everywhere on the streets. “I don’t know how many of you left, you’re the first one that I converse with,” she spoke to him, not denying nor confirming if the others were dead.
The moment the human began her approach – it began backing away, but ended up backing against a tree it did not realize was there in till it was too late. What did she want..? Was she just an innocent looking threat?
Though there was no show of emotion, it was afraid. “Leave me..human..you are dangerous…all dangerous..”
Wanda didn’t have any intention to hurt the robot. She was just curious. One thing she knew, it was afraid? Maybe. “Dangerous?” She asked, furrowing her eyebrows. She thought that maybe the robot has unpleasant moments with human before. “What have they done to you that you think we’re all dangerous?” She asked.
“You…who are you..?” The AI spoke with a broken voice, staring almost aimlessly at the woman it had spotted hiding behind a tree. As long as she did nor approach – he would not back away. Humans were dangerous and could not be trusted…and he was in no shape of form to be fighting back should things turn hostile.
Wanda stared at the robot as she wondered about it, approaching slowly so it wouldn’t be afraid, but at the same time she’s cautious. “My name is Wanda,” She spoke to him, tilting her head to the side. “And who are you? What are you doing here? Are you alone?” Her feet did not stop from approaching it, until she was close enough.
